Jr. High Camp Johnsonburg Retreat

We'll be playing games, singing songs, and meeting teens from around New Jersey.  The cost for the weekend is $110 and the deadline to sign up is April 18th. 

Jr. High Sunday School

6th Grade Sunday School is in Room 306 each Sunday.  Students are dismissed from the 10am worship service following the Time with the Children.  This year it is being taught by Jeannine Archibald and Julianne Maguire.  6th graders are using the Spark Curriculum - looking at a variety of stories taken from the Lectionary this spring.  Parents are encouraged to keep up with what their children are learning in Sunday School and talk about it at home.

 7th Grade Sunday School meets in the Youth Room each Sunday.  Students are dismissed from the 10am worship service following the Time with the Children.  Teaching 7th Grade Sunday School this year are Joe Ball, James Heinegg, and Joe Collura.  This spring they have been studying a variety of Old Testament stories including the Ten Commandments and David and Goliath, as well as memorizing Psalm 23.

The Pittsburgh Project

Our 2012 Service Camp Trip to The Pittsburgh Project will be July 15th-20th.  Listed below, participants will find information about mini missions and meetings.  We ask that each student participates in 8 hours of Mini Mission.  The purpose of the mini missions is to 1) get to know others in the group and 2) remind ourselves that serving God by serving others can be done in our own congregation and community as well as far away!

- Tuesday, April 3rd - 4:00-7:00 p.m. - Cleaning the Sanctuary for Easter

- Friday, April 6th - 9am-12pm - Good Friday Children's Program

- Thursday, April 12th - 9am-2pm - Trip to the NJ Food Bank

- Sunday, April 22nd - 11:30am-12:30 p.m. - Jr. High Meeting in the Youth Room

- Sunday, April 29th - 12-4pm - Spring Yard Cleanup for First Pres. Caldwell

- Friday, May 4th - 4-8pm - Fish and Chips Church Dinner (serving and cleanup)

- Sunday, May 20th - 11:30am-12:30pm - Jr High Meeting in the Youth Room

- Sunday, May 27th - 10am-12pm - Coffee Hour Hosting
